The Regeneration Forum
Cambridge, Massachusetts
(However could consider someone officing in New York City or Washington, DC)
The Situation
Rooted in orthodox Christianity, The Regeneration Forum gathers emerging leaders across deep differences, equipping them to form partnerships that bring "the life that really is life" into their world. The Forum serves a primarily young audience of leaders in the arts, the academy, business and the professions, media, politics, the church, and the home.
The Regeneration Forum's magazine, regeneration quarterly (RQ), offers culturally engaged Christians intelligent, in-depth commentary on North American culture, as well as stories of transformation from those who are pursuing lives of authenticity, integrity, and creativity. It is read by more than 5,000 emerging leaders and has won several awards for excellence, including the Utne Reader's Alternative Press Award for Spiritual Coverage.
The Vine asks the question, What would happen if a generation of believers gathered across deep differences for one simple purpose to build relationships now that will transform the future of the Church? Four hundred invited guests will come together at two Vine forums in 2002 to answer that question, engaging in conversations and worship that bring "the life that really is life" to bear on every sphere of cultural endeavor.
RQ Forums meet in 25 cities in North America and Europe, offering a space for conversations and partnerships that leverage the content of RQ and the relationships initiated at The Vine to bring change in local communities.
