The Situation

 

The American Jewish Committee, an organization of 32 chapters in the U.S., engages in both domestic and international issues to promote its mission. Through its 32 chapter offices, overseas and program offices, partnerships, affiliations, institutes, and centers, the AJC advances religious, ethnic and social understanding worldwide.

The Position

Reports to: Jaime Kelstein, National Director (of Development), New York, dotted line to David Bernstein, Washington Area Director (manages all AJC activities in Washington area).

Basic funcion: Implements all phases of an annual development program and campaign. Directs fund-raising activities. Works closely with AJC Board members. Organizes special events, large and small.
