                ROBERT A. SELLERY, JR.

A native of Evanston, Illinois, Mr. Sellery received his A.B. degree in history from Princeton University. His M.B.A. degree is from Rutgers University. His M.B.A independent work included research on leadership in not-for-profit organizations, distance education, and the significance of country specialists for international marketing research.

With this firm and his previous employers, Booz-Allen & Hamilton and Paul Stafford Associates, Mr. Sellery has recruited executives for corporate and not-for-profit organizations. In addition, Mr. Sellery has worked on organizational studies as a management consultant. Robert Sellery has over a quarter century experience in executive search, since his initial training at Booz-Allen & Hamilton, who "invented" executive search.

Before joining Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Mr. Sellery was in the Office of the Dean and was a member of the executive committee (ex-officio) at Princeton University's School of Engineering and Applied Science. He worked closely with professors and their research in all engineering fields, including specialized areas such as aerospace engineering, properties of materials, polymer science, parametric pumping and computer science.

Robert Sellery's professional career also includes naval aviation and marketing and sales, United States Steel Corporation.

Mr. Sellery has guest lectured in the University of Maryland's course on applications of human resources management practices on "The Recruiting Process", and at the Yale University School of Organization Management on "Competitive Strategies for Obtaining Professional Positions." He has also worked with mid-career students at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government about public service positions.

Business Horizons has published his article, "How to Hire an Executive". His personnel and marketing models for not-for-profit organizations have been published by The Foundation Center. Mr. Sellery has been a faculty member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education's Minority Forum in 1993, 1994 and 1995.

Mr. Sellery has chaired Princeton University's Alumni Council Committee on Athletics and served as a class officer. He remains active with these organizations, and is former chairman of The Princeton Library in New York. He is currently an elected member of both the Board of Admissions, University Club of Washington, D.C., and the Vestry, St. Alban's Parish (Episcopal), also in Washington.

Mr. Sellery and his family reside in Washington, D.C.
